chachacoa@gmail.comLet's talk!La Colina is a new hardware store located close to the venezuelan shore. With more than 30 years in the wholesale hardware business, the company's founder knows really well the importance of quality and durability in this market, and for that reason they are importing top quality products and brands to give you the best tools at affordable prices for any project you want to bring to life.
Being located close to the Caribbean sea waters in a small city with a majority of working class people, the company needed a bold identity brought them close to the customer, and at the same time communicated confidence, trustworthiness and expertise. The approach for this identity is very simple and typography focused, playing with the negative space between the C and to O of Colina to create the shape of an open ended wrench, this subtle detail gives a clever personality to the logo without being too distracting. For the colours we were inspired by the sun and the sea, two of the main ingredients of La Guaira, Venezuela.
